Choose the Panel tab. (See Figure 45.)

In the Location field, choose where on your Desktop you want the
Panel positioned.

In the Style field, choose how large you want the Panel icons to be.
Tiny icons are good if you have a low screen resolution (800x600).
Both Normal and Large icons use the same icon, but Large places it in a
larger box, which can be convenient if you have a very high resolution
screen (1600x1200).

In the Taskbar field, select where you want the Taskbar placed on
your Desktop.
If you choose Hidden, the Taskbar won’t appear on your Desktop. You
can still use the Alt+Tab keyboard method, or choose open Windows from
the Window List Panel icon to switch between open windows.

If you want to make the Panel or the Taskbar “autohide,” change to
the Options tab. (See Figure 46.)
